USPS Celebrates Processing over 9 Billion Holiday Mailpieces in Rudolph, Wisconsin

RUDOLPH, WI — The United States Postal Service will celebrate a major milestone of the 2025 holiday mailing season, marking the processing of more than 9 billion holiday mailpieces nationwide since Thanksgiving Day.

Media are invited to attend this celebratory moment Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Rudolph, Wisconsin, where the milestone package will be delivered in real time — highlighting the dedication, reliability, and festive spirit of America’s postal employees during the busiest mailing season of the year.

To add to the holiday cheer, USPS employees at the Rudolph Post Office will be dressed as Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and elves, welcoming customers and handing out USPS holiday coloring books to children following the delivery.

“This milestone represents more than a number — it reflects the trust millions of customers place in USPS and the hard work of our employees who deliver for America every day, especially during the holidays,” said USPS spokesperson Desai Abdul-Razzaaq.

Visuals include:

  • Supervisor delivering the milestone holiday package
  • USPS employees in full holiday costumes
  • Children receiving USPS coloring books
  • Festive holiday atmosphere inside and outside the post office
