CHARLESTON, WV-The Appalachian District is pleased to announce the re-opening of the Pentress Post Office, located at 55 Pentress Road, on Wednesday, October 28, following the completion of renovations made to the building.

The Pentress Post Office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday from 10:15 a.m. to noon.

Patrons are welcomed to a Customer Appreciation/Grand Opening on Wednesday, October 23 where refreshments will be served from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. If there are any questions, please contact the Administrative Postmaster at (304) 278-5758. 

The Pentress Post Office offers sales of stamps, money orders, packaging supplies, and have PO Boxes available for rent. They will also carry Expedited packaging (free Priority Flat-Rate boxes and envelopes) for added convenience in mailing packages.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
