Customers may pick up packages on Sundays at these offices
CHARLESTON, WV – Select Appalachian District Post Offices in West Virginia and Virginia will open their lobbies for package pickup for customers who have been left notice of attempted delivery or have tracking information their package has arrived at one of these select USPS locations.
Here are the Post Offices with Sunday parcel pickup hours on December 1, 8, 15, and 22:
“We’ve been in the holiday shipping business for centuries,” said Appalachian District Manager Leeann T. Theriault. “Providing these extended hours for customers to pick up packages will help save them valuable time.”
Customers looking for convenient ways to mail cards and packages can also take advantage of the availability of holiday stamps at many area retailers, visit usps.com to purchase postage for packages and arrange free carrier pick-ups, or visit Self-Service Kiosks at nine Appalachian District Post Offices.
