CHARLESTON, WV — The Appalachian District is pleased to announce the October 26, re-opening of the Slatyfork Post Office, located at 35161 Seneca Trail, Slatyfork WV 26291. The facility had been closed while necessary repairs to the building were conducted.  

The Slatyfork Post Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Patrons are welcomed to a Customer Appreciation/Grand Opening on Thursday, November 5, with refreshments served between 11 a.m. and noon.

The Buckeye Post Office offers sales of stamps, money orders, packaging supplies, and have PO Boxes available for rent. They will also carry Expedited packaging (free Priority Flat-Rate boxes and envelopes) for added convenience in mailing packages.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
