Effective April 22 through May 1, the following Post Offices will be inaccessible to the public due to surrounding area closures:
- Kansas City Main Office, 300 W. Pershing Rd., 64108
- Kansas City Main Retail Office, 30 W. Pershing Rd. Ste. 112, 64108
Customers can pick up their notice left packages and PO Box mail at the James Crews Post Office, 2201 E. Truman Rd., 64217-9998. Retail transactions are also available at this location. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Drop shipments should be made at the Kansas City Processing and Distribution Center, 1700 Cleveland Ave., 64121.
The following neighboring offices remain open for retail transactions:
- Leon Mercer Jordan Post Office, 3231 Prospect Ave., 64128-9998. Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
- Rosedale Post Office, 2200 W. 36th Ave., Kansas City, KS, 66103-9998. Retail hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.
- Westport Post Office, 200 Westport Rd., 64111-9998. Retail hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon.
