Myanmar Post advises the suspension of all passenger flights to and from Yangon International Airport has been extended until June 15. Consequently, restrictions regarding  processing of international outbound and inbound items, including delivery, remain in place.

Myanmar Post advises that all passenger flights to and from Yangon International Airport remain suspended until May 31, 2020. Myanmar Post is unable to provide outbound mail services (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) to international destinations and is therefore ceasing, with immediate effect, to accept outbound letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items until passenger flights resume at Yangon Airport.  Domestic operations, including mail delivery, are still functioning under modified conditions, and Myanmar Post asks all Union member countries, insofar as is possible, to continue sending their mail dispatches to Myanmar via cargo flights.

Myanmar Post advises that it will be unable to provide outbound mail services to international destinations due to the suspension of all passenger flights at Yangon International Airport through April 30 as part of national measures to combat spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Myanmar Post has stopped accepting international mail items until passenger flights resume. Domestic operations, including mail delivery, continue with some changes.
