Falkland Post Office, 6063 NC Highway 43 N, 27827-9700 — Effective immediately, temporarily closed due to a fire. Until further determinations are made, all services are moved to Fountain Post Office, 6738 E. Wilson St., 27829-9998. Customers are reminded to bring proper photo identification for PO Box mail and package pickups, (if possible previous mailing containing the PO BOX address with proven name). Window service hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Post Office Box lobby hours are Monday through Sunday, 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Plaza Kinston Post Office, 2433 N. Heritage Street, 28501-1613 — Operations have resumed. Window service hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon. Post Office Box lobby hours are Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., and Saturday, 12:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
