Stamp Announcement 23-25: Life Magnified Stamps

FDOI

On August 10, 2023, in Cleveland, OH, the United States Postal Service® will issue the Life Magnified stamps (Forever® priced at the First-Class Mail® rate) in 20 designs, in a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) pane of 20 stamps (Item 484000). These stamps will go on sale nationwide August 10, 2023, and must not be sold or canceled before the first-day-of-issue. The Life Magnified commemorative pane of 20 stamps must not be split and the stamps must not be sold individually.

The Life Magnified stamps explore life on Earth, as few have ever seen it. Twenty stamps feature different images taken with microscopes and highly specialized photographic techniques that capture details of life undetectable by the human eye. Each stamp includes the name of the specimen that is showcased. Art director Derry Noyes designed the stamps and the stamp pane using existing photographs.
