Effective January 21, 2024, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), section 503.4.3.2, to clarify what matter is ineligible to be insured.
The Postal Service is revising DMM 503.4.3.2, “Ineligible Matter,” to remove redundant text and provide 609.4.3 as the section reference for matter that is ineligible to be insured.
Although the Postal Service will not publish this clarification in the DMM until January 21, 2024, this revision is effective immediately.
