On July 18, 2024, in Berkeley, CA, the United States Postal Service® will issue the 3-cent Peonies denominated stamp, in one design, in a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) pane of 20 (Item 123500) and a PSA coil of 10,000 stamps (Item 762400). This stamp will go on sale nationwide July 18, 2024, and must not be sold or canceled before the first-day-of-issue.
Peonies is a new 3-cent definitive stamp. The stamp features a luminous, almost ethereal, still life of three red peonies against a yellow-toned cream background. Art director Ethel Kessler designed the stamp with an existing image by Harold Davis.
