Effective August 8, 2024, the Postal Service™ is revising Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) Exhibit 292.45b and Exhibit 293.45b. The revisions are adding a foreign office of exchange code for full-service only M-bag items for International Priority Airmail® (IPA®) and International Priority Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) destined to Canada through Toronto, Ontario.
To provide mailers sufficient time to make necessary logistical and software changes, the Postal Service, through this Postal Bulletin article, is providing advance notice that mailers must begin using the code by November 10, 2024. Nonetheless, mailers are encouraged to immediately implement these changes to expedite delivery.
