Effective August 22, 2024, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Macao in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to add an observation to include the addressee’s mobile phone number when mailing certain items to Macao.
This revision is based on a formal request that Macao Post made through the Universal Postal Union International Bureau Circular 105, dated June 24, 2024.

2. On each Registered Mail item and on the customs form of each item mailed to Macao, display the addressee’s mobile phone number (if available) to facilitate delivery.

Although effective August 22, 2024, the Postal Service will incorporate this revision into the next edition of the online IMM, which is available via Postal Explorer® at pe.usps.com.
