Effective April 3, 2025, the Postal Service™ is revising PS Form 8017, Expedited Plant-Load Shipment Clearance, to reflect the following changes:
n Simplifying parcel processing categories by revising the machinable processing category and consolidating Irregular and Non-machinable processing categories.
n Renaming category to “Nonstandard Parcels.” The updates in these forms include:
n Removal of Irregular Parcels.
n Removal of Nonmachinable Parcels.
n The addition of Nonstandard Parcel.
The revised version of PS Form 8017 is available on the Postal Service PolicyNet website:
n Go to blue.usps.gov.
n In the left-hand column, click Essential Links, and then click PolicyNet.
n On the right-hand side under “Published Forms and Directives,” click Forms, and then click on the range 8000–8999.
n Scroll down to the form entry and click the PDF icon.
