The Postal Service™ requires all managers and functional systems coordinators (FSCs) to periodically review employees’ and contractors’ access to USPS® applications and systems.
These reviews play a vital role in confirming that only authorized individuals maintain access to USPS resources, reducing the risk of unauthorized use or data exposure.
If reviews are not completed on time, affected users will lose access to the resources included in their review, which could impact productivity.
By Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time:
n Managers must complete their review of contractors under their supervision in both eAccess and ARIS.
n FSCs must complete their review in eAccess and ARIS for all users of applications under their purview.
Managers and FSCs will receive emails with step-by-step instructions on how to complete these reviews. The USPS ServiceNow website also provides guidance — search for “periodic review.”
Periodic reviews are mandatory under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act controls requirements and are outlined in Handbook AS-805, Information Security, section 9-3.2.5.
