Military Mail

Notice of Change to Military Mail Restrictions

Effective April 2, 2026, the Postal Service™ is redefining Restrictions B, I, I1, I2 for mail addressed to or from military and diplomatic Post Office™ facilities. This is to update Military Mail Restrictions to the latest customs requirement when shipping to and from overseas APO/FPO/DPO.

The revised Restrictions are shown in this edition of the Postal Bulletin in the Pull-Out Information section under “Overseas Military/Diplomatic Mail” page.
