Effective October 31, 2026, the Postal Service™ will discontinue the printing and distribution of the following USPS® Tracking labels.

Label 891 – Tracking w/Signature Confirmation Ins < $500
Label 892 – Tracking w/Signature Confirmation Ins > $500
Label 888 – USPS Tracking 50 labels / pad
Label 888 – USPS Tracking 2,000 labels / roll
Label 889 – Signature Confirmation, No Additional Ins
These labels are incompatible with updated USPS processing equipment and no longer support operational needs of the Postal Service. Eliminating these labels will improve visibility, tracking, service performance, and the customer experience.
Customers will continue to have many options to service their shipping needs. Metered customers must contact their postage meter provider for assistance with printing postage labels with tracking.
