The United States Postal Service® is officially re-introducing Stamp Deck Cards as an available philatelic product beginning with the 2026 commemorative stamp program. While primarily structured to celebrate our commemorative offerings, the 2026 lineup will also include a curated selection of specific mail use stamp designs.
The deck cards are produced through Stamp Fulfillment Services (SFS) stock opening processes and are offered in limited quantities. The inventory of deck cards is continually managed to meet both mail order fulfillment and collector demand.
These philatelic items were recently showcased at the Boston 2026 World Expo, where the collector community provided essential feedback. Driven by customer enthusiasm and ordering trends observed during the event, the Postal Service™ has determined the long-term viability of each product format moving forward.
n Stamp Deck Cards with Digital Color Postmark (DCP): Demonstrated exceptional popularity and will expand to a permanent, program-wide offering.
n Plain Stamp Deck Cards (No Stamp or Cancellation): Met with limited interest and will be phased out following a final, limited run.
The Stamp Deck Card with Digital Color Postmark format will be offered beginning with all 2026 commemorative releases, alongside specific mail use stamp designs. To assist collectors with tracking their collections, the currently revealed 2026 lineup has been organized into the three availability segments below. (Note: Not yet revealed or upcoming stamp issues will be officially listed in future editions of the Postal Bulletin as their designs are made public.)
For stamp issues featuring multiple designs or images within a single pane or sheet, the following fulfillment policies apply:
n Stamp Attachment: Only one, randomly chosen stamp from the issue will be affixed to the deck card for cancellation. Customers may be able to request a specific stamp design through a custom order with an additional handling fee.
n Card Artwork: The deck card itself may not feature all images or designs from that multi-stamp release due to layout and spacing constraints.
Due to lower consumer demand, the plain Stamp Deck Card format will not continue as a standard option in future programs. However, to ensure equity for collectors who could not attend the Boston 2026 World Expo in person, the Postal Service is offering a final, limited run of this format for exactly 10 selected 2026 stamp releases.
If you are a traditional collector of the plain stamp deck card, for any 2026 stamp issue other than the 10 shown below you must utilize the same procurement methods you have relied upon in the past to secure the deck card.
Please note that these specialized deck cards will not be stocked at local Post Office™ retail windows. They are obtainable exclusively through direct channels. Collectors can place orders through:
n The official USA Philatelic Catalog
n Calling Stamp Fulfillment Services (SFS) directly at 844-737-7826
Item numbers and unit pricing for each item will be published in upcoming USA Philatelic catalog cycles.
