Angela H. Curtis, Vice President, Delivery Operations

Angela Curtis was named vice president, Delivery Operations in July 2021. She reports to the chief retail and delivery officer and executive vice president.

In this role, Curtis oversees the Postal Service’s delivery operations, retail and delivery operations command center and Level One Post Operations Support.

Before this role, Curtis served as Retail and Post Office Operations vice president beginning in August 2020. In this position, she was responsible for establishing national retail and Post Office operations policy and processes for more than 30,000 sites, empowering her employees to improve the customer experience.

Curtis began her career with the Postal Service in 1993. She has extensive operations experience and has served in several executive assignments including acting vice president, Eastern Area Operations; manager, Eastern Area Operations Support; district manager, Mid-Carolinas and Baltimore districts; and senior plant manager, Northern Virginia. Her comprehensive experience in retail, delivery, processing, logistics, carrier operations and customer service operations has resulted in the organization’s success in multiple performance measurement initiatives.

Curtis earned a Master of Science in management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in business administration from Gardner Webb University in North Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science in business administration and marketing from Gardner Webb University. She is a recipient of multiple Vice President Awards, the 2020 Postmaster General Award, and is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, certified Microsoft Project Manager, and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
