David Webster, Vice President, Processing Operations—Eastern Region

David Webster was named vice president, Processing Operations, Eastern Region, in September 2025, a role he had acted in since July. He reports to the chief processing and distribution officer and executive vice president.

In this role, Webster is responsible for overseeing mail processing and distribution in six eastern regional divisions: Chesapeake, New England, New York Metro, South Atlantic, Southeast and Florida. The Eastern Region has approximately 107 processing facilities, with more than 55,000 employees serving the East Coast and including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Before, Webster served as senior director, Processing Operations, Chesapeake Division in the Eastern Region, where he was responsible for processing and distribution operations for 25 processing facilities that process approximately 20 billion letters, flats and parcels annually and services approximately 12 million delivery points.

Webster began his Postal Service career in 1991 as a distribution clerk. He has a wide range of operational and leadership experience with processing operations and customer service. He has served in many executive roles including district manager assignments in the following former districts: Western Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, South Jersey, Appalachian, Northern Ohio and Greensboro. He also served as plant manager, Pittsburgh Processing and Delivery Center and senior plant manager, Western Pennsylvania District.

Webster is a graduate of the Managerial Leadership, Advanced Leadership and Executive Foundations programs, and is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
