Vice President, Processing Operations–Eastern Region
Todd Hawkins was named vice president, Processing Operations, Eastern Region, in September 2023. He reports to the chief processing and distribution officer and executive vice president.
In this role, Hawkins is responsible for overseeing mail processing and distribution in seven eastern regional divisions: Chesapeake, Gulf Atlantic, New England, New York Metro, South Atlantic, Southeast and Southwest. The Eastern Region has approximately 162 processing facilities, with more than 88,600 employees encompassing half of the United States, including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Before, Hawkins served as vice president, Processing Operations, Western Region, where he oversaw 146 processing facilities and more than 56,000 employees who process nearly 350 million letters and packages each day.
Hawkins began his Postal Service career in 1985. He has extensive experience in management roles, including several senior plant manager and district manager positions; manager, Operations Support, Eastern Area; and senior director, Processing Operations for Lakeshores and Westshores regional divisions.
He is a graduate of George Williams College and received a Master of Business Administration from Governors State University. He has completed several leadership courses and is a certified Lean Six Sigma green belt.
