Benjamin P. Kuo, Senior Vice President, Facilities and Infrastructure

Benjamin Kuo was named senior vice president, Facilities and Infrastructure, in December 2025. He reports to the position of deputy postmaster general, chief operating officer and chief human resources officer.

Kuo is responsible for all aspects of managing one of the largest civilian facility inventories in the United States. His department is responsible for all Postal Service properties, covering more than 275 million square feet in approximately 8,500 federally owned and 23,500 leased facilities. He oversees the planning, leasing, purchase and sale, design and construction, repair and alteration, and redevelopment of facilities that contain Postal Service operations, and runs the day-to-day operating and administrative support for Postal Service headquarters facilities. Kuo oversees the office of Environmental Affairs and Corporate Sustainability in which he is responsible for ensuring the Postal Service complies with environmental laws and regulations, advancing sustainable practices to reduce energy usage, and increasing diversion of waste from landfills. Kuo also oversees Fleet Management and Fleet Acquisition, which involves the development, deployment, purchasing, leasing and maintenance of one of the largest civilian fleets in the world with over 260,000 active vehicles. The organization is also modernizing its vehicle fleet, including the acquisition of 106,480 new delivery vehicles, of which 66,230 are electric.

Before, Kuo served as vice president, Facilities. He has more than 30 years of experience in engineering and facilities management. His experience includes the management of general construction, landscaping, maintenance, utilities, transportation, custodial activities, sustainability and waste management. He has a record of success in planning and directing the delivery of services to large institutions, as well as managing budgets and inventory worth more than $1 billion.

Kuo has held management and executive positions at Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America, Cornell University and Georgetown University.

He has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering, with a concentration in engineering and public policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
