Vice President, Human Resources
Simon Storey was named vice president, Employee Resource Management in June 2017. He reports to the Deputy Postmaster General and chief human resources officer.
In this role, Storey oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from hiring to retirement. Storey and his team are dedicated to improving the employee experience, ensuring a safe workplace and equipping and empowering employees to do their best.
Human Resources supports all aspects of complement management, including Safety and Health, Diversity and Talent at the field level, Injury Compensation and Hiring and Selection Policies. Storey and his team also manage one of the largest Human Resources Shared Services and Human Capital Enterprise Systems in the country.
Storey has more than 30 years of federal service. He began his career with the Postal Service as a mail processing clerk in Billings, Montana, and later became a supervisor and held other management positions. He has more than 25 years of experience working in various district and area Human Resources leadership positions.
Storey holds a bachelor’s degree in management from St. Leo University in Florida and studied business administration at Montana State University.
