U.S. Postal Service Resumes Operations In Most Alabama Locations Impacted by Hurricane Zeta

Alabama — The Alabama District is pleased to announce that, with the exception of one location, all Post Offices that were impacted by Hurricane Zeta have resumed service.

Jones, AL Post Office operations remain suspended until further notice. The Jones Post Office is located at 891 Short Street, Jones, AL 36749-9998. Retail customers may conduct transactions at the Plantersville, AL Post Office, 236 Cherry Street, Plantersville, AL 36758-9998. Post Office Box customers with proper identification may pick up their mail at this temporary location.

The Plantersville Post Office is open Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m.to 3:15 p.m. and is closed on the weekend.

Letter carriers will deliver mail and packages from the Plantersville, AL Post Office to Jones, AL customers.

The U.S. Postal Service apologizes to customers for any inconvenience.
