Key West, FL — The U.S. Postal Service Florida 3 (South Florida) District has announced a temporary suspension of mail delivery and retail operations in the Lower Florida Keys due to Hurricane Ian. The safety of our employees and our customers is a priority for the Postal Service.
Today, Wednesday, September 28, residential and business customers in ZIP Codes 33001, 33040, 33042, 33043, 33050, and 33051 will not receive mail delivery. Also, until further notice, retail operations temporarily have been suspended at the following Post Offices:
The Postal Service appreciates its customers and their understanding as we temporarily adjust operations due to inclement weather. We will continue to monitor tropical weather conditions and will restore service when it is safe to do so.
