FLORIDA — Effective immediately, the U.S. Postal Service Florida 2 District has resumed mail delivery and retail operations in the 328, 329, 342 and 347 ZIP Code areas, which had been temporarily suspended because of Hurricane Ian. The safety of our employees and our customers is a priority for the Postal Service.
The Postal Service appreciates its customers and their understanding as we temporarily adjusted operations for their safety and that of our employees.
USPS Service Alerts provide information to consumers, small businesses, and business mailers about postal facility service disruptions due to weather-related and other natural disasters or events. Updated information is available at https://about.usps.com/newsroom/service-alerts/.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relied on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
