WEST PALM BEACH, FL — The U.S. Postal Service continues to create easy and affordable products and services designed to help grow small businesses. Small business owners can learn more about shipping and mailing products, including USPS Ground Advantage®, at an upcoming, free “Grow Your Business” event:
Tuesday, May 30, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
West Palm Beach Main Office Window Unit Lobby
3200 Summit Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33416-9997
In July, the U.S. Postal Service will launch USPS Ground Advantage®. Small businesses stand to gain significantly from this product. Reduced shipping costs can translate into healthier profit margins, while reliable service can lead to improved customer satisfaction. Moreover, the included insurance provides peace of mind for businesses shipping valuable goods.
This development is part of the USPS’s 10-year strategic plan, which focuses on strengthening its shipping solutions for service excellence, on-time delivery, and revenue generation from enhanced package delivery services. With over 31,000 Post Offices, various pickup options, no surcharges for fuel or residential delivery, USPS is demonstrating its commitment to providing exceptional value and convenience to its customers.
“‘Your business is our business when it comes to helping grow small businesses in the West Palm Beach area,” said West Palm Beach, FL Postmaster Orlando De La Osa. “In addition to USPS Ground Advantage®, we offer several other business solutions, including Every Door Direct Mail®, which assists with marketing efforts. We also provide shipping solutions, such as Priority Mail, which help small businesses economically and confidently ship their products.”
At this event, small businesses also will have an opportunity to learn about the Postal Customer Council® (PCC®), a program that is a valuable resource for business mailers, large and small. Local PCCs serve as an open channel for USPS®-to-business communication, providing information and best practices for achieving cost-effective and profitable mailing, education, and training, as well as solving local challenges. Through regular meetings, educational programs, mailer clinics, and seminars, PCC members learn about the latest postal products and services that may help them grow their business.
