LAKE CHARLES, LA — The Postal Service is in active recovery mode, following Hurricane Laura. We are making every effort to provide service as soon as possible to all of our customers in the areas affected by the storm, wherever we can ensure the safety of our customers and employees. We sincerely appreciate our customers’ understanding and cooperation as we recover from the storm.
For those Post Offices still unable to be occupied, we are currently operating in alternate locations until repairs can be made. In addition, Postal Mobile Retail Units have been set up in the parking lots at the following Post Office locations. Customers will be able to conduct postal transactions, fill out Change of Address and Hold Mail forms, and pick up their P.O. Box mail with proper identification.

All Retail and PO Box operations at the following Post Offices are resuming, effective Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Service will be provided via temporary Mobile Retail Units located in front of the facilities during the days and hours shown below:
