LOUISIANA —In an abundance of caution, and to ensure the safety of both postal customers and employees, the Postal Service is temporarily adjusting operations for two Post Offices in Louisiana, due to Tropical Storm Beta.
Effective Tuesday, September 22, retail and delivery operations at the following Post Offices are temporarily suspended:
HACKBERRY POST OFFICE

HACKBERRY, LA, 70645
Both retail and delivery services for the Hackberry Post Office are being offered at the alternate location below:
SULPHUR POST OFFICE
800 S. POST OAK RD
SULPHUR, LA, 70663
Hours: Mon – Fri: 8:30am – 4:30pm; Sat: 10:00am – 12:00pm
POINTE A LA HACHE POST OFFICE
18039 HWY 15
POINTE A LA HACHE, LA, 70082
Both retail and delivery services for the Pointe a la Hache Post Office are being offered at the alternate location below:
CHALMETTE POST OFFICE
3340 PARIS RD
CHALMETTE, LA, 70043
Hours: Mon – Fri: 9:30am – 4:00pm; Sat: 9:30am – 2:00pm
