IMM Revision: Individual Country Listing for Uganda

Effective March 21, 2024, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Uganda in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to include the addressee’s landline number, if possible, and any other relevant information on every item destined to Uganda.

This revision is based on a formal request that Posta Uganda (the designated postal operator of Uganda) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 29, dated February 12, 2024.

[Revise item 3 to read as follows:]

3. On every item, Posta Uganda (the designated postal operator of Uganda) requests that the mailer include the sender’s telephone number and email address, and the addressee’s landline number and mobile telephone number (if possible), email address (if available), the house or apartment number (when applicable), and any other relevant information.
