Effective April 4, 2024, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Ireland in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note that human or animal remains, including cremated remains and ashes, are prohibited to Ireland.
This revision is based on a formal notification that An Post (the designated postal operator of Ireland) provided through email correspondence dated February 28, 2024.
