Effective May 1, 2025, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for China in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to increase the value limit of inbound items sent by individuals to China.
This revision is based on a formal request that China Post (the designated postal operator of China) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 4, dated January 13, 2025.

3. b. Items for personal use imported into China (not including items imported from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) may not exceed 2,000 CNY.
