Effective June 12, 2025, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Argentina in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to request that the mailer provide the addressee’s unique tax ID number on items mailed to Argentina.
This revision is based on a formal request that Correo Argentina (the designated postal operator of Argentina) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 74, dated May 5, 2025.
