The Postal Service™ is encouraging employees who use multifactor authentication (MFA) to access LiteBlue to add a backup security method on a secondary device. This helps prevent being locked out of USPS® systems and applications if your primary method becomes unavailable (such as a lost or broken phone). Setup takes less than 15 minutes.
To add a backup method:
n Go to LiteBlue (liteblue.usps.gov).
n Select Self-Service Profile, then Enter SSP.
n Enter your Employee Identification Number and password.
n Chose a backup MFA method.
n Follow the prompts to finish (note: available options may vary based on current setup).
Recommended MFA methods (in order of priority):
n Okta Verify (mobile or desktop)
n Google Authenticator (mobile)
n Biometric Authentication (face, fingerprint, or PIN)
Already have a backup MFA method on a secondary device? No further action is needed.
For detailed instructions, refer to the MFA User Guide at liteblue.usps.gov/cyber/assets/pdf/mfa-user-guide.pdf
