Postal Service™ employees looking to recycle their used inkjet and toner cartridges have the following options to consider:
n Toner cartridges purchased from eBuy+ often come with a postage paid return label that you can use to return your used cartridges for recycling using the original packaging.
n Click and Ship is another option available to postal employees. Instructions on how to use this option can be found at edispose.usps.gov/edispose/edispose.html or blue.usps.gov/sustainability/_pdf/recycle-inkjet-and-toner-cartridges.pdf.
Disposal of used electronics is illegal in most states which is why it is important to recycle your used toner and inkjet cartridges. It also helps support the USPS corporate sustainability goals to protect the environment by reducing, reusing, and recycling the waste we generate at work while we strive to divert 75 percent of waste from landfill by FY 2030 (see about.usps.com/what/corporate-social-responsibility/sustainability/circular-economy/.)
