If you have forgotten your ACE password and struggled to get back into the USPS® network, there’s an action you can take now to make logging in easier in the future. It is called your Password Recovery Settings, and it can be found under the My Profile tab in eAccess. Password Recovery Settings help USPS verify your identity if you forget your password.
Due to a system upgrade on July 10, 2025, that required wiping users’ prior responses, all ACE users must establish a new Password Recovery Setting in eAccess.
The process is quick and easy with the following steps:
n Log in to eAccess with their ACE ID and password,
n Choose a 4-digit password reset key, and
n Pick three questions to answer.
For step-by-step instructions, go to the Setting My Password Recovery Settings – eAccess Quick Guide.
Users who have already recreated their settings in eAccess after July 10, 2025 don’t need to take further action.
