Effective September 1, 2025, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®), to reflect revisions to the Regulations of the Universal Postal Convention that concern requiring the sender of an item containing goods of a commercial nature to provide, at minimum, the 6–digit WCO Harmonized System tariff codes on the customs declaration for each article contained in the mailpiece.
