Effective January 18, 2026, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), section 507.7.2.6, to reflect a change in the standard for scheduling Pickup on Demand® service.
The Postal Service recently updated the Pickup on Demand service application to allow customers to schedule their pickups up to 6 months in advance. As a result of this update, the Postal Service is revising section 507.7.2.6 to reflect the new maximum of 6 months in advance for a customer to schedule Pickup on Demand service.
Although this revision will not be published in the DMM until January 18, 2026, this standard is effective immediately.
