Effective February 5, 2026, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Venezuela in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to reflect that remotely piloted aircraft (RPA), including drones and scale models, are prohibited.
This revision is based on a formal request that Instituto Postal Telegráfico de Venezuela (IPOSTEL), the designated postal operator of Venezuela, made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 194, dated December 8, 2025.
