There are two types of fees which may be assessed regarding Rights and Permissions. Please note that applications require a $25 non-refundable administrative fee.
Application Fee
A non-refundable, $25 administrative fee is required for applications and should be sent with the completed application. Payments must be sent via check or Postal money order. Please be sure to include the contact name on the check and enclose a copy with your application.
Application Fee Exception
If the logo will be used to indicate a shipping method, no fees will be required. If you wish to use a Postal Service™ logo to indicate a shipping method option, complete the application, attach a layout of the proposed use and submit it via fax or mail.
One-Time Royalty Payment
In addition to the application fee, a royalty fee may be required. This fee is generally assessed for commercial uses and is based on the number of images or trademarks, intended application, medium of use, and production scale. Any royalty fee will be assessed at the time the application is approved.
