Todd Hawkins, Vice President, Processing Operations—Central Region

Todd Hawkins was named vice president, Processing Operations, Central Region, in July 2025. He reports to the chief processing and distribution officer and executive vice president.

In this role, Hawkins is responsible for overseeing mail processing and distribution in seven regional divisions: Westshores, Central, Lakeshores, Northern Plains and Midwest. This processing region includes 100 facilities and 34,600 employees who process 177 million mailpieces every day.

Before, Hawkins served as vice president, Processing Operations, Eastern Region, where he oversaw 162 processing facilities and more than 88,600 employees encompassing half of the United States, including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Hawkins began his Postal Service career in 1985. He has extensive experience in management roles, including several senior plant manager and district manager positions; manager, Operations Support, Eastern Area; senior director, Processing Operations for Lakeshores and Westshores regional divisions; and vice president, Processing Operations, Western Region.

He is a graduate of George Williams College and received a Master of Business Administration from Governors State University. He has completed several leadership courses and is a certified Lean Six Sigma green belt.
