436 Breaking Ties

When two or more applicants within a group have the same final numerical rating, the tie is broken by:

1. Placing XP preference eligibles ahead of TP preference eligibles.
2. Placing TP preference eligibles ahead of nonpreference eligibles.
3. Using the number, from lowest to highest, randomly assigned to the candidate’s application by the online application system.
