As of November 16, 2023, the Material Distribution Center (MDC) will no longer stock the 12/22 edition for Leave Year 2023. All orders received at the MDC on or after November 16, 2023, will receive the 11/23 edition for Leave Year 2024. However, the 12/22 edition will be available for individual printing from the PolicyNet website throughout 2024.
Revised PS Form 3972 is available on the Postal Service PolicyNet website (as is the edition dated December 2022 for Leave Year 2023):
n Go to blue.usps.gov.
n In the left-hand column, click Essential Links, and then click PolicyNet.
n On the right-hand side under “Published Forms and Directives,” click Forms, and then click on the range 3000–3999.
n Scroll down to the form entry and click the PDF icon.
