Effective December 12, 2024, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Angola in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to add an observation about including the addressee’s mobile phone number and email address on the customs declaration form when mailing items containing goods to Angola.
This revision is based on a formal request that Correios de Angola (the designated postal operator of Angola) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 82, dated May 27, 2024.

[Add an entry to read as follows (replacing “None”):]
Correios de Angola (the designated postal operator of Angola) requests that the mailer include both the addressee’s telephone number (preferably mobile) and email address, if available, on the customs declaration form. Providing the addressee’s mobile phone number and email address on the customs declaration form will facilitate and prompt efficient customs clearance of items containing goods in Angola.
