In December of 2024, results for the Postal Pulse® employee survey were released, providing insights to help gauge the effectiveness of our efforts and identify opportunities to improve. The following results were discovered from the survey:
n 113,267 employees completed the survey for an overall participation rate of 19 percent.
n 70 percent of the employees that responded are engaged.
n Overall, employees are proud to work at the Postal Service™. They know what is expected of them, and understand their contributions to the success of the Postal Service.
n Less favorably, employees do not believe their opinions matter and are not confident that survey feedback will be used to improve the work environment.
We are preparing tools and resources for managers to effectively leverage survey results to improve the work environment for their employees.
The 2025 Postal Pulse Survey will be administered from April 8 through May 16, 2025. The survey is being administered earlier in the year to ensure that we have enough time to distribute and share results with managers and employees before peak season begins.
The survey takes about 5–7 minutes to complete. We encourage employees to share their feedback so that we can increase our response rates and help ensure the survey results provide a representative view of the workplace.
Watch for further communications and complete the survey to share your feedback about the employee experience.
Employees may take the survey the following ways:
n If you have a Postal Service email account, you will receive an email invitation with a link to the online survey.
n If you don’t have a Postal Service email address, you will receive a paper survey at your work location and time on the clock to complete the survey.
Survey participation is voluntary and on the clock.
