Effective May 1, 2025, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Suriname in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to add an observation about including the addressee’s mobile phone number on the customs declaration form or address label when mailing items containing goods to Suriname.
This revision is based on a formal request that Suriname Postal Corporation (SURPOST, the designated postal operator of Suriname) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 56, dated April 7, 2025.
