IMM Revision: Minor Changes Related to the Retirement of the Web Tools Platform

Effective April 2, 2026, the Postal Service™ is revising various sections of Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to reflect that the Web Tools® Application Programming Interface (API) platform has been replaced with the USPS® API platform.

The Postal Service has deployed a new API Gateway and API Developer Portal to replace the legacy Web Tools API platform (which was retired on January 25, 2026) and is updating the IMM to replace outdated references to Web Tools. Mailers can find more information and migration support by visiting usps.com/business/web-tools-apis/welcome.htm.
