Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement

Effective April 30, 2026, the Postal Service™ revised its Memorandum of Policy (MOP) HR-02-19-2026-2, Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement to meet the requirements of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC’s) Management Directive 715 (MD 715). In accordance with the EEOC’s MD 715, the Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement will be updated annually and prominently posted in the following locations:

n All personnel offices;

n Equal Employment Opportunity offices;

n On the agency’s internal website; and

n Throughout the workplace.

This policy reaffirms the Postal Service’s commitment to equality of opportunity in every aspect of employment sand supersedes MOP HR-05-01-2025-1.

The revised Memorandum of Policy (MOP) HR-02-19-2026-2, Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement is available on the Postal Service PolicyNet website.
