Effective October 15, 2026, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Comoros in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note that mailable items must include a new 5-digit postcode, which identifies delivery zones in Comoros.
This revision is based on a formal request that La Poste Comores (the designated postal operator of Comoros) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 126, dated August 24, 2026.
