How to become a USPS supplier

Supplier registration

Welcome to the USPS Supplier Registration site. All suppliers interested in doing business with the Postal Service must register their organization in our Supplier Registration eSourcing system. If you have already registered, you do not need to register again. Please contact eSourcing@usps.gov with any issues.

  1. USPS eSourcing Supplier Registration is a module in which suppliers are encouraged to register to be eligible to participate in eSourcing events. Registration in USPS eSourcing does not guarantee a supplier will be invited to participate in an event or awarded a contract. Postal opportunities can be found in https://SAM.gov but are not usually posted on this website or the Postal eSourcing Portal (COUPA). Should you hear about an opportunity/sourcing event that you may be interested in, please contact the eSourcing Helpdesk team (eSourcing@usps.gov) and provide the name and/or solicitation number of the event for reference. While we are unable to assure your participation to the event, we look forward to your continuous interests in doing business with the U.S. Postal Service.

  2. Following step #1, suppliers must complete a 2-step process to register their organization. To start the registration process, please complete this initial form referenced in the link below and attach as a word document in an e-mail message to eSourcing@usps.gov. This form is required if suppliers wish to set up an account with our eSourcing system and complete the registration process.

    Supplier Registration Form

Once the initial form is reviewed and approved by the Postal Service, the primary contact listed on the form will receive an email labeled USPS Profile Information Request – Action Required and at the end of the message will select the button labeled Join and Respond, which will take them to the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) to complete their profile and the USPS Supplier Information (SIM) form. You can learn more on how to complete the USPS SIM form via CSP directly from this video: How to Set Up CSP Account and Complete SIM Form. Please add emails received from @ebuyplus.coupahost.com to your safe sender list.

  3. After the supplier completes the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) registration process, the Postal Service will review the registration entry for completeness and accuracy. The supplier will receive a final notification once the registration is approved.

Please note that the USPS Electronic Sourcing (eSourcing) system is a software product hosted by Coupa. While Coupa may offer additional business opportunities, suppliers may use them at their own discretion. Your Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) username and password will be separate from your eSourcing event username and password. eSourcing event username and password will be set up and provided to you only if you are invited to a USPS event.

Please refer to the “Quick Reference Guides” and the “Supplier Training Videos” for more information on supplier registration, solicitation event access, and event management. If you need additional help or have any questions, please contact the USPS eSourcing technology support team at eSourcing@usps.gov.

Thank you for your interest in partnering with the USPS. We look forward to doing business with you.
