It’s time for United States Postal Service® (USPS®) employees and contractors to do their part to protect critical Postal Service™ data by completing mandatory, biennial telework training. The deadline for completing the telework training course is June 13, 2024.
Threats to digital information are growing in frequency and sophistication worldwide. Protecting USPS employees, customers, and supplier data from these threats is a priority for the Postal Service. Everyone has a role to play in protecting this data.
By taking the assigned telework training course this year, employees and contractors will learn how to protect critical USPS information from cyber threats when working remotely (teleworking). This training course is separate from the annual CyberSafe training.
The course, “Teleworking: Working Remotely,” provides employees and contractors with Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) access if they are approved to telework. The training also provides the basics of teleworking, such as work responsibilities, the importance of effective communication, the applications you should make sure are always on, tips on your workspace, staying safe online, and protecting your devices and data. Users will also learn the required knowledge and process details to securely telework.
Employees and contractors can access the course through usps.csod.com/LMS/catalog/Welcome.aspx?tab_page_id=-67&tab_id=-1.
