Effective June 13, 2024, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Belarus in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note that Belarus is implementing changes to customs duties and taxes on the import of goods addressed to a private individual.
This revision is based on a formal request that RUE Belpochta (the designated postal operator of Belarus) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 69, dated May 13, 2024.

Observation
[Revise item 2 to read as follows:]
2. As of April 1, 2024, for a postal item sent to a private individual, the total duty-free value and weight limits are 200 EUR and 31 kg (68 pounds), respectively. For a postal item exceeding the duty-free limits, the addressee will incur at the time of delivery customs duties and taxes as follows: the greater fee of either 15 percent of the value of the goods, or at least 2 EUR per 1 kg (2 pounds) of the total weight of the postal item.
